Released on April 15, 2009, 'Financial Security [ Blanket ]' is a personal comment on the 2008 economic crisis and the artists' own financial uncertainty. The project incorporates 208 American dollar bills, sewn together with thread, to form a makeshift security blanket. The fragility of the blanket's construction and its inability to effectively shelter, conjure an oxymoronic image, consistent with the state of unemployment, homelessness and financial insecurity, at the time of it's release.
